Agreed, and shocking to see how bad he looked last Sunday. His record, here, at International level and in Europe speaks for itself, and if ever someone deserved the word 'legend' associated with them - it is him. Very sad news.

What a gem of a bloke. He appeared at a chairty match only the other day at St James Park which shows what a battler the bloke was.

Not just a great footballing man but a great man. Never lost touch with his roots and always had time for the fans. Such sad news
