He'd probably play left back over Adriano. Adriano is a solid squad player who let himself down with his final ball last night. Still, Bale isn't the best anything in the world.

He played LB. Would you play Bale back at LB? I'd say it would be a very difficult decision to move him from midfield. I know he can play there but he can be devestating down that left wing. I'd say Bale would be 'wasted' in a way at LB.

no,just a useful player and adaptable on his day who would improve with better players around him IMO - ie at Barça...

I wonder where he will end up in europe in the summer ?
