The Punchestown Festival is the highlight of my racing year. Can't wait. Its strange, I have no interest in Aintree whatsoever. The best horses are aimed at Cheltenham and generally run again tired at Aintree as a second thought. I've tried to avoid it really but pleased Walkon won after his race at Cheltenham, deserved IMO. Thats about it really.
With regards to the National, no real interest from a punting point of view and I have tried to avoid reading "tips" for each different horse with probably 30 out of the 40 horses having a "chance". Had my first proper look at the card tonight tbh and Rambling Minster is the one for me. No idea who has tipped it/fancies it but I like the look of it at a rather disappointing price. I have also backed the Russell mount e/w.
