Yeah your right. I got the link off another website which said they'd admitted to missing calls in the championship games and others. Never read the article just copied it over to here. I'll edit my original post accordingly.

My apologies.

Kurt Warner has announced he is retiring. Is he HoF, i'm not sure. I think he just about makes it but not 1st ballot.

Also:

Will he do a Favre and come back?

Can Leinart replace him?

If not do they trade for somebody or draft a guy?

I think the ideal scenario would be a trade for somebody, since they are pretty competitive as it stands. Boldin for McNaab (and late round picks) is what i think will happen.

I would hope that Kurt Warner would be an absolute shoe-in for the HOF...doesn't he have the 3 highest passing yardage games and/or QB ratings in SB-history?? Twice League MVP, once SB MVP, 2nd highest completion percentage in NFL history

What a story. I think he has to make it. The performance he gave against the Packers in this years playoffs was breathtaking, along with his numbers which are pretty sensational. I fully understand his reasons as he is a very deeply religious man and very family orientated, I don't think he does a favre. I'm not sold on Leinart, theyre a few quarterbacks out there who may be able to do a job although I don't think McNabb is one, as he has a good relationship with Reid and can't see him leaving.

As long as the Cardinals dont go silly and get a QB who cant pass like Michael Prick they will be alright with all the recieving weapons they have

From all the talk Im hearing on the forums and suchlike I can see Julius Peppers suiting up for us next season :)

It would make sense with us getting rid of Richard Seynour last year to free up space and all the draft picks we have will come in handy if the Panthers franchise him again

Sad to hear Warner has called it a day. I'll never forget him as he led my team through the only successful period we have had since i started following the game. He put up some truly special numbers throughout his career and will go into the HOF if there is any justice. Will be interesting to see who the Cards go for at QB next year. Leinart has never really produced and there will be numerous options available. This might give us a chance to steal a game of them next year :D

Re: NFL Chat 3 : Sun Jan 31, 2010 2:20 pm
Am I the only person that thinks that Leinart may do well now that hes had a bit of time behind a quality QB like Warner?

According to the "experts" at the nfl Daunte Cullpepper is the "#1" QB free agent and theres not exactly loads of top QB`s in the draft, so unless they can trade for a QB thats going to lead them for the next 5-10 years (which I dont believe are too easy to come by and certainly not on the cheap) I can see them giving Leinart his chance next year with a wide open division that they would more than likely win with an 9-7 record and perhaps 8-8, hes certainly got the recievers and RBs to be successful IMO.
