Kenny shown today how tactically clueless he was. Whilst we were consistently picked off on the counter today, Fergie's United thwarted City t'other week and created a host of chances.
An honest observation......I don't have any problem with Reina making the challenge, but if a full back spreads himself like a keeper to block a cross and takes the ball on his arm, then its handball, simple as - So why was the Reina incident any different?....I just presume the ref and his assistants didn't see the handball?
And please don't give me 'ball to hand'... .........If anybody, not just an onrushing keeper, slides in like Reina did, arms extended, then he can't claim 'accidental use of the hand or arm'.
Poor attempt? I was just getting in there before Catalancs.
Still got that crush on me?
I hope Skrtel makes a full and speedy recovery. The way the poor lad was rolling around, Balotelli wants a lengthy ban and should be made to visit Skrtel in hospital.
Who was it saying Joe Hart was limited and one-dimensional on here not so long ago?

You happy with the point? I'm sure you'd have taken it before the game but now surely it's 2 points lost? City, in a sense, where there for the taking. They were all over the place defensively and gifted you chance after chance, Joe Hart played a blinder, and they offered little going the other way. Silva, Nasri and Aguero were kept very quiet and hardly troubled you back, the longer the game went on the longer it looked like you'd win it.

Said it before the game, I doubted how clinical we'd be and it proven to be the deciding factor, as it has many times this season. Suarez is an excellent player, but if he isn't getting the goals we really do look lost. Downing and Kuyt still haven't scored this season, whilst the less said about Carroll the better. Today, Kuyt had a good chance with a header, Downing had a couple of great chances and we had some 'situations' where we could have created a chance, but none were taken, in fact, Downing's and Kuyt's didn't even test the 'keeper.
No matter how much faith Kenny has in Carroll, our biggest problem is scoring goals at the moment. We create chances but we simply lack quality in the final third. Much like under Benitez, our midfield is competitive, our defence generally assured, but our finishing and wide players are average.

Good point. The biggest frustration for you must've been to see the team create chances and very good ones at that but to be missed every time. In truth the goal came from a hopeful strike and Lescott just swinging his leg at it. City offered very little in attack and really snatched a point today when they should've been beaten. Suarez is a very good player and always dangerous but when was the last time he scored? I don't think he's been a prolific goalscorer but there seems to be very little around him to work with him or take chances he does create. January is fast approaching, where would like to see Dalglish strengthen?
The one thing about the Premier League is you have to be clinical, we found that out against Man Utd and Newcastle were we dominated both games, had the better of the chances and yet lost both.

Join the club, I know exactly how you feel. It's what most of us have been saying about Everton this season and most of last. We don't generally let many goals in per game, our midfield is never really outplayed but we can't score, we create chances and plenty of them but relying on Saha to score week after week isn't the answer. Don't even get me started on the quality of our wide players, Baines aside.
