It won a Listed race first time out and after it Collet said this.

"She is a very serious filly and is very fast. I have nothing that can keep up with her in the morning"

Thats interesting because Collet has a certain 3yo who also made a winning debut a month later who BHB put up to beat Goldi the other day in...Immortal Verse.

Not going to read too much into that as horses progress etc but Wizz Kid did show a nice turn of foot to beat Prohibit who went on to win the King's Stand, Wizz Kid is 5lbs worse off with this time but has scope to improve

York 3.05 Biondetti 8/1 EW

After two average wins it won a poor Group 1 in Italy as a 2yo finished the season with a well beaten 4th in Breeders Cup Juvenile dirt race, nothing major in that form but its return as 3yo looks to show its progressed a fair bit coming 2nd in a Group 3 in France with some good Group performers, the winner Vagabond Shoes had been beaten by Byword in its last race and had Beacon Lodge behind it, the 3rd was Polytechnicien who had beaten the very good Cirrus Des Aigles with RPR of 124 (Cirrus was lacking fitness mind) and was 2nd in the Group 3 Earl of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket, if Biondetti has improved for the run I think it can get involved here.

Best price on Hoof It now is 3/1, with the odd 5/2.

He could go off a ridiculously short price.

Backed it last time

Bay Willow 14/1 EW Donny 3.55

Ran well for Johnson last season before changing yards and doing well in Meydan winning once an 3rd in a decent handicap, was its first run since then last time out but its dropped 6lbs for it so its on 99 having run to a mark of 107.

Its been dropped another 4lbs from that run which is lower then its last winning mark on turf plus its back up in trip.

Burano 10/1 EW York 4.15

Hot maiden but this has some nice form, was runner up to Rockinante on debut who was then 2nd in a Group race and winner of Listed in France, Burano was then sent off hot fav in a maiden won by Entifaadha and had another winner come from it in Fencing, Meehan expected it to win that race I think its worth another shot

Wasn't going to have a go on the Gimcrack but I have gone for the Hannon fav Lilbourne Lad @ 7/2

Its made the running a few times and is pretty game, if Hughes can get this out quick like Best Terms yesterday it will be hard to peg back.

Ebor - Lost In The Moment 7/1 EW 5 Places

This has 6lbs in hand from its 2nd to Opinion Poll in a Group 2 by just a head, was unlucky not to win as it met trouble inrunning, means it goes off a mark of 105 having run to an RPR of 115 its also a 4yo so is an improving horse they have said its stepping up in class after this, should have a massive chance if running to around 115 again.

Cant really get into this 4 day festival, too diluted imo. Get it back to 3 days tues-thurs.

Anyway, the Gimcrack does'nt look the greatest renewal, nor the Nunthorpe, and give handicaps the elbow, which leaves the strensall and the 1 horse I've been waiting for;

No bets for me today, woulda went for Lilbourne Lad if backing anything in the Gimcrack. Bit of a head-scratcher Caspar Netchar winning it. He's been beaten in group 2s and listed races on his past few runs, while being not too far away, the closest he had got was a very narrow 2nd to Saigon (who didn't frank the form, as CN reversed it next time out). In fact, the only race Caspar Netchar has won is his debut race. Whereas Lilbourne has got some very smart form to his name in Ireland. Thats 2yo colts for you though.

Fancied Dux Scholar but it looked a very tight little race, didn't fancy him particularly strongly as there were a good few others with claims. Michael Hills was on his fathers horse, which will hopefully have made Green Destiny's owners open their eyes as he managed to win the race with Fallon on board. Richard woulda probably got him boxed in.

If I was having a bet on the Nunthorpe, I'd take Bated Breath E/W.
