Wish I'd backed Mardy Fish now, Nadal's been plodding through these past few weeks, not convincing at all, and looks like Fish is gonna do him in straight sets. Thought if I back Fish then Nadal is sure to school him.

Caspar Netscher has run well at big prices behind both Harbour Watch and Frederick Engels this season, also finishing ahead of Bogart which won yesterday. Never out of the first four in all his races, nor ever beaten that far, which is why I felt he was worth a dabble today.

Didn't think he'd win, tbh, though As pointed out above, it didn't look like the greatest renewal today.

His owner now has to speak at the Gimcrack Dinner this winter - he's a big BNP supporter, apparently

Backed Lost in the moment again to try and make a profit for the week

Watching the head on again it couldnt of had a worse run, should of won that and been in the Group 2 race before this, runs to 115 or better an it will have 10lbs in hand

Barry Hills last ever runners today, and he's off to Chester, mainly for Na Zvorovie in the maiden he's made a habit of winning over the last few years.

Fugging love it, lay material if I ever saw it, and he's likely to go off odds on due to all the sympathy surrounding his retirement.

He's ran twice already this season, earning quotes of " slowly away" twice, outpaced and stayed on. His problem is the draw (2). Chester is simply the wrong course for antics like that.

Now for the trainer. In the last 14 days, he's sent out 31 runners. Of which, 3 have won and only 1 has placed; 4/31...approx 13% strike rate. mickey poor. Throw in the fact, that his runners at York this week have all run like drains, then;

Na Zvorovie is WIN and PLACE LAY material.

I tend to avoid 2yo races, but there are a few in the race with experience. Namely Finbar. Priced @ 7/1, his 2 races this year read, from 20 runners, 8 winners and 3 places...approx 55% strike rate. No brainer to me.

Sandown 3.20 Strawberrydaiquiri @ 9/1 EW

This has won a few Group races and run well in Group 1s its best RPR being 117 well above anything here, she acts on soft and has won first time out before, Meehan seems to rate this as his worse chance in the race but Theyskens Theory doesn't want soft and the other is untried on it, Strawberrydaiquiri only found Sahpresa too good on soft in a Group 1 last year.
