I predicted the Mavs would win. My team never had players predicting championships or mocking other players. Just enjoying that Lebum whingeing, trying to catch a ride to a title. FAIL. We'll be okay when we have more time to gel 2-2 in the regular season. We had no Billups in the playoffs pretty much and we have cap room as well (barring a hard cap in the new CBA). We have the purest score in the league and the most clutch player, learn how to play D on a consistent basis and we won't be far off.
"I'm taking my talents to south beach" ha ha ha ha ha.
In other news, espn 6pm every night for the next few weeks. Hardwood classics.
Bulls v Lakers 1991 Game five tonight. You'll get to see the difference between LBJ and Jordan, great as a team the bulls then as were the Lakers.

I know you did mate, was only jesting. I agree that Lebron and co. set themselves up for a fail by bragging at the start of the year, and then i thought mocking dirk was a terrible act. But let's be honest, nobody was this angry when the celts did what Miami have done, it's the same in all sport, people hate what they are jealous of, it's why city hate united, and why most NBA fans hate LeBron and the heat. Like you said, the Knicks WILL get better over time together, but so will the heat, this was their first year as a team, and to be honest, it was mediocre at best, but they just lost in the finals. SInce when have the knicks had Kevin Durant, i agree carmelo is great in the clutch and he is one of the best all round scorers in the NBA, but durant is better imo.
There is no comparison between the greatest of all time and LeBron, not at least from my end, because i know better and grew up on Jordan and his Bulls. The Bulls team back then won't be matched imo.
The celtics traded for their stars and none of them had a TV show and a big elaborate stage celebration, that's probably why. I don't think the Heat are balanced at all. Wade and LBJ's games are too similar.

I agree, but it's not Lebron's fault ESPN wanted the show, he took the money like any sane person would do. I agree that they aren't balanced, i feel they would have been better not getting bosh and spreading his money evenly around a good set of support players, because the team right now is 3 big names and a few okay players, not good enough really.

Bosh has pulled his weight, he's been putting up consistent number, he hasn't been the problem.
I disagree with regards to the tv show, I'm a huge LeBron fan (not the Heat, just LBJ) but the TV show wound me up. Fair enough your going to trade teams, but he knew he was crushing every Cavs fan, and for the sake of about 5% of his yearly wage he could have done it in a much more dignified way and come out with a bit more respect than he did.
D'Antoni will get one more year. A defensive coach is being brought in. We've had Crittendon, Bonzi Wells and Joe Alexander working out for the team.Crittendon and Alexander were both lottery picks the past 5 years. I think we can do something with them. I see a huge turnover of players. I expect Shelden Williams, Jeffries, Balkman to all leave and through the draft and free agency a few bigs brought in. I'd like to see.
C- Dalembert(free agency) MLE PF-Amare SF-Anthony SG-Pietrus(defensive guard, so doubt whe'd get him) PG-Billups
Bench-
Carter Douglas Williams Fields Barron(free agency) Alexander (free agency) Crittendon(free agency) Walker

Nikaed, you think D'Antoni will still be HC next year? Any free agents you want them to push for?
Youre right Inside Man, good post as always. I agree with what you say that he could have hurt some Cleveland fans, but i'm pretty sure they'd be just as hurt now if he hadn't have done the show. I'm not slagging Bosh either, he has been consistent, but if you were to pick two of the big three and leave one out, then i think 9/10 people would leave out bosh, and spread his salary elsewhere.
