So the U.S Open has just started...Enjoying it so far, Woods carried on with his good form from the Memorial and hit some great shots. If(massive if) he can shoot level par the rest of the tourny he will win by a few....
This is the toughest course most of the players will ever play in their career, some of the holes are ridiculously hard(I'v played them on WGT so I should know
) the fairways are narrow and have a lot of overhanging trees making it even harder to hit them, most of the fairways slope towards the rough in opposite direction to the hole shapes! Even if they hit the fairways they still have tough shots into the greens because the slopes are huge. The 16th hole is 670 yards long and is shaped like a boomerang but with the trees its impossible to cut the corners.
I know I say this every year but no-one will finish under par this year IMO, think only 3/4 players have ever finished under par after 4 rounds in a U.S Open here! If it pishes it down and softens the greens they could but still don't see it.
I'm gonna predict a winning score of +2 and stick with Donald or Westwood despite the poor starts, they have to win a major sometime(probably when I don't tip them)
Nice to see Blubba Watson back to his best aswell
