5 game ban, despite Tony Pulis making almost identical comments about a ref earlier in the season and not even getting a warning. Yet people will still claim the FA favour Utd.

If Pulis does a David Icke, he might just manage to get a tenth of the publicity that Fergie gets if he says good morning. Did you even know that Pulis had made similar comments, before you read about someone whining about it on a Yanited blog?

The fact is that Fergie is one of the worst offenders for giving refs grief. He's a serial offender and he's blatantly done it again. And done it again after a very high profile game. While also refusing to fulfil his media obligations, which many people question how he can get away with.

I think the FA are similar to the refs. They are fair, they just aren't very good. They try their best but they're in a difficult position and they get it from all sides. The 5 games are pretty much a standard punishment when you consider 1) He was already on a suspended sentence, 2) He went even further that he did before and 3) He denied the charge, when he was blatantly guilty.

United fans claiming to be the victims of the authorities. Probably the funniest thing I have ever heard.

Ferguson is a bully. Every ref knows that if they annoy Ferguson, they will not get any big games involving United for the rest of the season. Regardless of his ability as a manager, he's a nasty piece of work.

Seems the irony of that chant is lost on you.

To say that Pulis isn't as high profile as Ferguson is the most pathetic argument I've heard yet. Dalglish calling Webb a "joke" also went unpunished. But lets not discuss that because Sir Alex Ferguson is a "nasty piece of work".

Let the ABU's enjoy it, most of them have very little to cheer, so the most successful active manager getting a ban is like a league win for them.

Dalglish called that penalty a joke. It was. I think Chelsea were lucky to get the pen against United, but the Berbatov collapse was just pathetic.

The difference between Dalglish and Fergie is that Fergie directly attacked the ref and made his comments aimed at the ref. The report I just read had Dalglish discussing the incidents directly, rather than attacking the ref.

After the Chelsea-United match the biggest issue of the game was supposedly Luiz not being off when he should be. Fergie cried and cried about it. United fans cried and cried about it. Funny that when Scholes recently committed two bookable offences in quick succession the only response was a chuckle about how "Scholes canna tackle ha ha ha" and it's no big deal all of a sudden.

I could give a toss about Fergie getting a 5 match touchline ban. As if it makes any difference whatsoever to anything. But when 10 United fans are crying over it on here then people will respond over it.

Rio Ferdinand could miss rest of season with calf injury. John O'Shea ruled out for five weeks & Rafael for up to three weeks with hamstring injuries.

Hopefully we can get through the Bolton game at the weekend with a patched up team then see how we go after the international break. I read that Park may play some part on saturday which will be a big positive for the midfieild aswell as Anderson being a few weeks away, as for Rio any team would miss a player like him but with the way Smalling has progressed he's more than capable of covering for the rest of the season. No news on Vida yet and that is one player we can't afford to lose long term as he's been a rock at the back this season.

Went to the game on tuesday and apparently the cameras missed it but not long after Hernadez was booked Heinze got a few niggling kicks in at Chico so the next time he ran at him caught Heinze square on the jaw with a well placed elbow. Heinze spent the next 5 minutes moaning constantly at the linesman.
Was a cracker of a game that was almost ruined by poor officals there was some nasty challenges on Carrick, Brown and Valencia that all went unpunished the Valbuena tackle (if you can call it that) on Brown being the stand out.

It's Arsenal's for the taking, isn't it? Though I doubt they'll take it.
