Or will Modric still end up at Chelsea? Him and Mata would be the younger, energetic, creative legs that they are badly missing.

Anyone read Net Catics interview about Barros chairman Des Johnston and his gambline exploits ?

Sacking one coach because he didnt play Jamie Rooney, despite the fact he hadnt trained all week with an injured hand. Turns out the chairman had hammered Rooney to be the top match points scorer somewhere (Bet365 ?).

I did hear tales about Barrow a few years back about certain tales of betting in the board room etc.. Didnt know whether to believe it or not, but always had similar stories of the players been offered money if they won above the handicap or kept the winning margin beneath it etc..

wouldnt surprise me this going on.... prob make more from it than the wages they get at lower level

Re-grouping and licking my wounds after taking a pasting from the bookies on Saturday, will see how the Celebration Mile field cuts up and if its too open it'll have to be Irish Champion day the following week.

Celebrating my first pick up in shop since god knows how many weeks, well pick up as in significant one anyway.

Tenner treble on the footy tonight, Molde 4/7, Mjallby 3/1 and St Pauli 4/5, paid £113.

Last team was St Pauli who were up against ten men for the final 20 minutes whilst drawing 1-1. Managed to grab a late winner in the 92nd minute (with about 30 seconds left) to land the treble. Maybe just maybe, the tide is turning back my way after a horrific month in all honesty.

After two good Saturdays at the start of the month, I hope my luck gets back on track soon.

The way things went for me last weekend, if I threw a bag of gold up in the air, it would drop back down as a bag of sh*te.
