It isn't as bad as group B but it looks a tricky group all the same. We will have to get a win against the co-hosts in front of a noisy passionate crowd, as we never seem to get a win against the Swede's in tournament football and the French are looking better under Laurent Blanc.
Its got echoes of the 1992 Euros (if we can all remember back that far..
).....After 2 lacklustre performances resulted in 2 draws, and left us needing a result against an unfancied host, the rest was history as Sweden set about putting the first nails in Graham Taylor's coffin.
We have a similar schedule this time around and you really have to fancy that it could go the same way as 20 years ago.
