Didn't see the Terry thing, and MOTD didn't show it (naturally). I was watching the Villa / Utd match and Phil Jones took a very blatant dive, i just shook my head, i don't want to see our players doing that, ever.
I feel really sorry for Spurs, they've spent a good couple of years building that team, without the unlimited chequebook, and they won't get a genuine shot at the title because of Man City's unlimited riches.
I didn't know you did comedy Bently, Modric, Bent, Defoe, Keane and Pevlechenko(sp) all in the £15m - £20m bracket, in the last 3 or 4 years without an unlimited chequebook?....don't make me laugh

Point being they've built that team without a trillionnaire owner, the way it should be done

Why should it be done that way? Is there somekind of football utopia that exists? I don't think so.
Virtually EVERY team has bought their way to titles, certainly in the last 40 years, to my knowledge.
If someone INVESTS (as the Sheik has done) his money into a football club, and gets success, great. He's happy, the fans are happy. Well, all except fans of other clubs, but, that's life.
There's no real difference between now and any other era, just that we happen to have 2 massively rich owners, above some very, very rich owners. Tell me, are the Henry's which own Liverpool, down to their last 10 bob. No, they are fantastically wealthy, and have allready invested big amounts of cash into their team, but that's ignored, compared to when City/Chelsea get the chequebook out. Tell me, were football chairmen in the 70's, penniless wretches? No. They were millionaires, several times over. I just don't get all this petty jealousy, because Chelea and City have the richest owners. Someone has to be the richest. It just so happens to be City and Chelsea.
Back on point, let's not forget that Spurs have spent a ton of money in the last 5 years or so, so don't give me this feeling sorry for them, bull5h1t.
I love the influx on City "fans" on here this season. It's p*ss funny, only Cibaman, EE and DD were the regulars prior to the 2011-2012 season. We now have a "new" breed on the forum. Strange but true.
1 January - Sunderland away 3 January - Liverpool home 7/8 January - United home 11 January - Liverpool home 14 January - Wigan away 22 January - Spurs home 25 January - Liverpool away 31 January - Everton away

Every team has spent money. The thing that irk's people with City and Chelsea is that they don't bring anybody through themselves. No emphasis on youth whatsover, buying an entire team. The great Liverpool and United teams all had alot of players brought through the club. There was a City "fan" giving Paul Lake loads on twitter, didn't have a clue who he was.

You'll have a few midweeks spare soon mate. Not all bad.
There has been a huge emphasis on bringing through young players at Chelsea. We even spunked away a fortune on Arnesen from Spurs to implement the strategy.
But it's pretty much impossible to bring though young players when the manager will be at risk of his job if he goes through a season without winning the league or CL.
