I don't think so. Of course, it could be a surprise. Just like the Chelsea 4-4 Liverpool game.
But TBH there isn't the animosity between Chelsea and Man United that exists between Chelsea and Liverpool/Arsenal and United and Liverpool/Citeh.
As is looking likely, if we don't win the league this season I want United to do it. I absolutely don't want Arsenal or Citeh to win the league. I think United fans would feel fairly similarly, although there probably wouldn't be much difference for them between us and Arsenal taking the title.
Part of my hatred for the scousers and Arsenal is their response to Abramovich. Liverpool were continually banging on about no history and buying success. They were totally against foreign owners. IMO there was a huge amount of hypocrisy there because their success was on the back of Littlewoods money. And when rich yankies came knocking they bent over and dropped their pants like a cheap whore. And they obviously pick and choose which parts of their history they want people hearing about. I don't really hate anything in this life, but Liverpool FC is pretty much the closest thing to making me feel hatred.
Arsenal had a similar stance to Abramovich. They wanted rules changing. Their way is the only way to run a club. Their way is the only way to play. For the 2nd most powerful club in England, you'd think they were Wimbledon with the way they make out they are disadvantaged compared to others. And the way that the supporters who delighted in 1-0 to the Arsenal can suddenly become football purists simply because Wenger told them to think that, they are nearly as bad as scousers.
We've played Arsenal in the CL. That was bad going into it. Arsenal were in their invincible season. We were massive underdogs. And we knocked them out!
Playing Liverpool was bad. Knocking us out twice, with all the drama, all the controversy, with that fat ******** **** with his pidgin English. Playing Liverpool in the CL. Never again please.
Playing against Man Utd just isn't the same.
We shade the refs decisions 60/40 and they make out it was 90/10. WTFever. Fergie's mind games? Whatever, they don't do much unless you have an unstable manager in charge (Keegan, Rafa).
IMO it's a 50/50 tie. No real bad feelings between the clubs. Obviously Fergie will be whining about refs. Man Utd supporters will be claiming that blatant fouls weren't fouls because Fergie said so, but so what?
