8/1 Quins is tempting as will Saints put it all in with a game against Wigan on the horizon.

If Quins can get in front like they did v Leeds pre Challenge Cup Final it could get very interesting indeed.

Really strange is the handicap with VC going 8/1 to win the match and +16, with SkyBet +16 also but 9/2 to win the match. I know the chance of one outcome one does not necessarily mirror the other but it is unusual none the less.

Got French Navy at 2s. Think he'll be better than these if he handles the Goodwood track. Ran very green for a lot of the Newmarket race but was powering away towards the end.

Only other bet so far is a 9 team football acca.

Was a nice thirty profit from the 15 I had on French Navy - he could have a very interesing Autumn campaign, especially as a lot of other horses may be over the top or just plain ready to be put away for the winter/retired.

Got a quid on Seville, and a quid on Masked Marvel. Looks very wide open race, and couldn't back much with distinction taking lots of factors into account, so decided to have two at bigger prices for a bit of interest. Reasons were; Thought Seville was guaranteed to stay, and Pricewise picked him; and for MM, he has been trained for the race, and when Gosden lays something out its always worth a second look.

Fame And Glory was p*ss poor, glad I didn't have too much on and still have some profit.

Beaten by Fictional Account, now bombed out today. Retirement beckons surely.

Forgive it's last run which and its form isnt much different from the 2 at the front of the market with the run behind Frankel and the good 2nd in France, wouldn't be suprised to see it as pricewise's tip tomorrow.

Was fav for Group 1 Golden Jubilee Stakes, didn't show up and was found lame after the race, returned last week in the Group 1 betfred sprint Cup coming 8th was held up last until 2 out by Hughes was still on the bit when gap was closed, wouldn't of got up anyway but it did show she was back to form and this is alot easier target being a Group 3.

Bookies taking no chances 2nd fav for 2,000 and fav for Derby.

Frankels full brother out soon should enter the mix hopefully as I have a 33/1 ticket for the former.
