Manager starting a 5 game touchline ban, denied a blatant penalty after only 4 minutes and a player sent off for coming off best in a 50/50 challenge.

I wish they would stop making so easy for Utd to win the league every year.

Not sure what difference having Fergie on the bench or in the stands makes??....

He sits on his chair on the bench for 90 minutes, doing his best Father Jack impression, only stirring from his alcohol-fuelled stupor, when the match officials do something to upset him, then he is placated by the 4th official (who looks distinctly uncomfortable, with the whisky fumes steaming off him), before, finally, Mike Phelan helps him back to his stool on the bench.....

The 'keeper made an error in predicted Suarez's next move far too early, 9/10 a player will cut the ball back from that position, some will drill it across the 'keeper, so for him to come out predicting that was generally good, as he would have stopped us in a dangerous position. Thing is, it was at the feet of a striker who wasn't even shaping to cut it back, the goalkeeper will obviously try and predict play by what mostly happens in those situations, but he went with his decision without any basis other than probability.

Still, it was a grand finish and, although I never seen today's game (working, before he begins interrogation) but from all accounts, he played well and our lot seem very excited.

Mancini's non-losing tactics won't win him many pots. Surely yesterday should have been a statement that they will make it into the Champions League by displacing one of their nearest rivals.

Dire, wasn't it?

I know they were without Tevez and he didn't want to start Ballotelli for disciplinary reasons, but that was real park the bus stuff against a Chelsea side who have been low on confidence lately.
