Widnes will be glad to get away from Leigh. They've been regularly pumped, roasted and left in the alley-way by the lobbygobblers. Talk about being bitched - what a torrid time they've had. They'll be looking for some A&E rest time for the next three years at least.
Blue noses are born, Not manufactured. We do not choose, We are the chosen. Those who don't understand, Don't matter. Those who understand, Need no explanation .. W.A T.P
RANGERS will rise again
winner of the Wakefield Trinity challenge cup tipping comp 2012....YNBTG
Fergie,Arsene,Moysie & Dario Gradi are all unsackable
losing the two Manchester clubs and with Chelski hanging on just shows how poor the general quality of the Premiership has become. It gets hyped up as the best in the world but it's nowt special...not that the other leagues around europe are much better,it's just over hyped, that's all.
only one team in manchester and they are blue.. the other team are from salford!!!!!
absolutely, just makes you wonder when he'll walk away again
now i'm no LFC fan but I do have a lot of respect for KD - a truly great player, pretty good coach and a guy that has helped to raise millions for cancer charities etc but,as you say,how much will he want to take of the hassle of management especially when he knows deep down the squad he has isn't a patch on the sides he played in - forget the money side of it,is his heart really in the job unless he can see positive things at the end of the tunnel (literally !) ?
That's a good positive spin on things......The flip side that somebody might throw at you, is that you are at present playing for second spot in the league - Let's face it, if United were playing like City in the league, and were in the position City presently are, then we would be handing over the title already. Only City's relative inexperience in the title race is giving their rivals any hope.
I'm not saying Fergie should be sacked or should stand down, but itis ironic that Chelsea have been sacking bosses for much less in recent years and their present incumbent is already under pressure from those in the media....Also if Barca or Real (the 2 clubs who are truly United's equal) were ever dumped out of the Champions League at this stage, then I'm 99% sure that their bosses would be gone pretty quickly.
Playing for second spot? What a stupid comment to make. Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have all had 5 point leads on us at New Year and have gone onto finish 2nd in the league. City still have Arsenal and Chelsea to play from their first half of fixtures. Classic view from an ABU. You'd think after 25 years people would be smarter than to question United's title credentials. We have never been a first half of the season team. The team is in transition at the moment and we're still able to compete in the league. Lost alot of influence and experience in VDS, Neville and Scholes and replaced them with teenagers.

Hey, I'm with you on this - The title race is far from over. My point was that City are absolutely flying in the league and United are struggling along, looking average (after a decent first few weeks).....Swap the names around and Fred Done would be paying out an early Xmas present to anybody with a stake on United.
One thing is for certain, United need to City to collaspe, because there is no chance that this present United side can raise its game to the level that City are playing at the moment.

Wouldn't disagree with a word of that in fairness.
It may not be Man Utd's season, but I'd imagine they'll learn a lot from this years CL campaign, as will the City team.
