Beat them already this season, albeit in the charity shield, but that wasn't played in the usual way. There is a reason we play 38 games. Liverpool were outstanding in the 2008/2009 season and only lost two games and I don't think lost until Feb, then Rafa wet his knickers and they fell off the pace a little. Arsenal were flying in 2007/2008, playing far better football than City are now, then Gallas went crackers and they fell off the pace. Look at us in 1998, 12 points clear and looking unbeatable then Arsenal went on a run and passed us. A long way to go.
