Craig Bellamy on the Terry/Bridge situation: "You guys make a lot more of it. I know what JT is like and nothing surprises me about him. Everyone knows what he's like. But that's off the pitch. On it he's an outstanding player and a great captain."

When you're a top bloke like Bellamy, you have the right to pass comment on others.

Purely out of interest. Would you of booed Bridge if you were at Stamford Bridge today?

Before Thursday, then absolutely not. He was an ok player for us, but he scored a legendary goal for us at Highbury which earned him a lot of love from CFC.

But I think the timing of the statement of him pulling out of the England squad was deliberately done to allow the press to give another kicking to Terry. For that, I might have joined in with the booing.

I did think that our fans looked a bit daft giving Bridge grief when, for the first time, Terry was pretty much left alone by oppo fans.

Fair enough. Have to say i disagree with you on the timing of his statement. He released it a couple of days before a squad announcement. Gives Capello a chance to maybe chance his choice of game for the weekend and take in some of the LB candidates. I think he doesn't make that statement until after the game if there isn't a squad announcement. We will never know though.

And when such an obnoxious and odious little turd as Craig Bellamy is giving you grief and claiming some kind of moral high ground then you really must be an even bigger coño than anyone ever thought!!
