If Cavani went to City I'd see that as more of an upgrade on Dzeko, rather than a replacement for Tevez. But Napoli's asking price seems excessive and I could only see that deal happening very late in the transfer window. With a new manager and a likely change in playing style, City really need their key personnel on board sooner rather than later.
Cavani is a better player than Tevez. Far more consistent.
Cavani's goalscoring record is phenomenal, particularly as he's done it in a team that isn't one of the big glamour clubs in Italy.
