I did think he had done as much as he could ever really do at Everton. Personally I hope he does well at United, which is strange as I don't usually want them to win anything. He always acted with class at Everton and continued that with the way he left Everton, although if he succeeds in taking Baines off us, I might change my mind on that.

I think he could do very well domestically, his Everton sides were always pretty superb defensively. If he gets United playing the same way, the extra talent they have in their side could mean they are incredibly hard to beat. On the other hand I can see him struggling in Europe, being hard to beat will only get you so far. I'm not sure if he has the tactical nous to be successful in the Champions League, that is the big question mark over him.

He's a striker. Not your traditional target man, a very modern, very quick striker. Maybe him one side, Mirallas the other of someone like Koné in a front three. Looks pretty good, that.

Getting tired and bored of this Suarez transfer saga now.

I wish the buck-toothed little p****k would just f*****g do one if he's that adamant about leaving.

I have to say, it's 4 or 5 weeks from the start of the season and i'm already bored of Utd/Rooney this, Liverpool/Suarez that, Mourinho/Chelsea the other.

For a change I wouldn't really blame Suarez, which player of his quality doesn't want to play in Europe with a chance of winning something other than the carling cup.

Yes Suarez has got the best excuse for wanting a move now, but get the feeling that even if Liverpool had made 4th last season he would still be chasing a move.

Agents nowadays are forever looking after their clients "best interests" which would mean bending the players ears for a move, in Luis's case..."wouldn't you like to play on the continent?, where its warmer in winter?, where the flight time to Uruguay is shorter"? etc.

Nothing to do with the agents transfer commission at all

I think Suarez wanting to leave is a combination of many things. He's clearly not liked in England, I wouldn't like to live and work in an area where I'm not liked and I get regular beatings in the press. Whether he deserves it or not is irrelevant, he clearly won't like it.

Liverpool are still an average side, you can dress up whichever players you want, our defence and midfield were pathetic last year and they don't look like changing for next season.

Lastly, he'll be 27 this season and he's just had the best season of his career. It's highly unlikely he's going to better his current level of play. Add into that speculated interest from Real Madrid (I imagine they've been in touch with his reps) and you've got yourself a player wanting to move. I mean, come on, he could be starting for Madrid, playing alongside Ronaldo, competing for major trophies, earning more money and playing at the level he really should be playing at.

I don't agree with how he's gone about it, that's the modern player and they are often insensitive to those who've put the most faith in them. If he leaves, he'll leave with my regards and will be remembered fondly for being one of the best players in the league since the day he arrived. If he goes to any team in England I'd like him to burn alive.
