Didn't realise Oba had gone, so with Owen also gone and Viduka possibly retiring it leave you really light up front doesn't it?

Newcastle really need to get shut of about 10 players and bring in another 10 suited to the division you are now in, it all seems to be in disarray right now. They need to be careful though mate, things could get a lot worse if they are not careful.

The club is a laughing stock mate, no players will be brought in, that has been made clear.

Not to worry, we have the prolific Shola Ameobi still amongst the ranks.

Looks like him and Carroll will be busy next season.

It is quite apt that an article i read this morning, reminded me of this quote from Ashley 2-3 months ago...

It is 70 days since Mike Ashley said: “Bringing Alan Shearer back to Newcastle United was the best decision I have made. Talks are now ongoing between us about how we can take this club forward again.”

If someone would like to highlight exactly what Ashley has done since that quote to 'take the club forward again', then please do.

David Craig has said it isn't true and he's the one who usually finds out things with regards to Newcastle, even if he does talk poop most of the time.
