10lbs is alot but Nova Hawk hasn't run above 110 yet and couldn't even win a Listed race last time against horses who haven't run above her mark yet.

Its going to have to run above its best and/or hope Cityscape doesn't run his best which at the moment is 13lbs better then Nova Hawk

Cityscape beat Wild Wind at Curragh giving it 8lbs by 2 lengths eased down, Wild Wind also has a best of 110 and finished 3rd ahead of Novak Hawk in the French 1,000 Guineas.

Byword looks like going for the Mile, and Announce for the F&M


Nephrite won fairly comfortably.

Had a choice of two, why did I back Born To Sea. He was beaten easily. On the other hand, Cityscape wins easily.

Interesting, just read that on the RP site, but impossible to say if he would've won otherwise, as Nephrite won in the manner of a good horse. Murtagh seems to reckon he'll be a much better horse when the ground is faster.

Except maybe Treasure Beach, O'Brien didn't have much in the 3yo colt department this season - will be interesting to see if Camelot, Nephrite and Power can train on over the winter.

Unfortunately I seem to manage to back a high percentage of horses that are found lame after the race or end up breaking blood vessels etc during the race.

Plenty and Exceedance both won Bit skint due to the general student life so wasn't betting today, so no gain on my part. Hopefully a few others got on.

Will be slightly less impressed if Somersby wins too, that would've been a 16/1 treble.

The "Hype horse" has only not placed twice maybe even once as few bookies went 4 places in the Arc.

Surprised you haven't warmed to him given you're love of quick times in races.
