Can anyone remember when Man United were actually an interesting team to watch? Chelsea can't help it as they have always been boring but Man united have been the 2004 Greece team of this years' Champions League.

No great surprise there were 17 goals in the other three matches and a solitary one in a complete bore-athon between the English 'giants'.

United have been average at best for large parts of the year and are still comfortably in front in the title race. As the song goes 'We're sh*t, but we're top of the league'. Says as much about the 'strength' of the English game as it does about United's relative lack of class.
