Sizing Europe is a 2 mile horse he's not a bad 3 miler but not top class I just felt the fitness might edge it and it nearly did.

Quito De La Roque short as 10/1 now for Gold Cup glory 33/1 looks great already

Yeah I was.

As for Quito. His jumping was sketchy, and Davy was niggling at him quite regularly throughout the race, but he got the job done. Should strip a lot fitter next time out and the Lexus at Leopardstown would be the logical step after another pipe-opener, can't see him heading to Kempton on boxing day anyway.


O'Brien has had two winners so far, St Nicholas Abbey smashed the lot of them. Couldn't decide between the top five in the market for one reason or another so left the race. Looks like being a rare bet-free Saturday.

Raving. Had a couple of quid on Courageous Cat. Chopped in half by Goldikova. Hope Peslier gets a bollocking for that. Terrible.

Its just a bookies benefit, look at the results and prices of the winners of last night and Friday. The BCC winner had patchy form at best in the run up to last nights race.

Reminds me of why I've only had one or two bets on the meeting since I've been backing horses.

So You Think has went off favourite for the Arc, Champion, and BCC - all three races won by horses at double figure-odds, with Cirrus Des Aigles the only one really given half a chance before the race started.

O'Brien has now said he wants to drop SYT back to a mile. That probably means Coolmore will be retiring Excelebration, then.
