....Really??.....From most observer's point of view, it was a case of desperation....You can't seriously come out with what Mancini did back in the autumn, and then EVER let Tevez back, unless you are weak-willed as a manager.

If City don't win the league, then the Tevez decision will look even more the sign of a manager with no control.....Only a title win would give any credence to letting that parasite back into the fold.

The top 4 is simply too congested now.

You have arsenal and man united who will always be in there. Then you have chelsea and man city's millions which would normally guarantee they are in there, or nearby. (I word it like that because chelsea are currently 5th, but this is the exception).

Without champions league football you can't attract the top players. This shows in liverpool. They haven't had champions league football for a few years and they've descended into an average mid table team.

They can't attract any top players from the continent any more.

Liverpool fans want, more than anything for their team to be champions of england again. To be competing at the top of the table. This will never happen again unless a rich sugar daddy takes over like city or chelsea.

Bottom line is if you have a £35 million pound striker on £200k a week and your struggling for goals you give him a chance..... The recent Aguero injury proving the decision correct.

In an ideal world he would be nowhere near the team but aside from the football side we need to have him in the shop window for financial reasons.

Also not sure what the exact rule is but I'm sure there's something about players having to play a certain amount of games or being able to leave for free.

In contrast, I though Pardew was a joke appointment at Newcastle, how wrong I was. In turn, his dealings in the transfer market have been brilliant.

Rodgers will get manager of the year, lots of love for Swansea but it's Pardew for me, outstanding.

Not so sure on that, I think Pardew will get it myself, and rightly so.

I have no doubts you needed him back, but you did say that Tevez returned with his tail between his legs, when it was nothing of the sort, and more like City begging him to rescue a faltering season.

A failed mission will just make Mancini and City look daft.....A victory would make it look like a genius decision.

Begging????? Love to know where you've got that from.

We tried to sell him but nobody would pay our asking price so City refused to be forced to sell him cheaply.

We weren't paying him during the strike and when he decided to return by law had to start paying him again. It would be idiotic and stubborn to not play him, whatever the result of the title.

Me too, I was extremely downbeat, could see another relegation on the horizon and thought it was just another Ashley and Llambias old pals' act.

Him and his backroom team have made some terrific, cost effective signings, the club is in a very good financial state, and providing we can keep the backbone of the team in place and add around it then there could be bright days ahead.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Dalgleish is a joke of a manager who is living in the 1990s.

Andy Carroll's dive today was one of the funniest things you'll see on a football field and really he should be banned for it, just as the keeper would no doubt of been had the referee given the penalty.

It's not hard to see why Liverpool are in such a mess. Dalgleish and Comoli between them had a plan. A masterplan for European domination. It involved researching their signings on FIFA Soccer and paying twice what you could get them for on the game.

Anyone defending KKK after this season needs to take a long hard look at their devotion. Hodgson is a far better manager than he is and Liverpool made a massive mistake by not perseveering with him.

To top it off I've had my next door neighbour telling me KKK is just unlucky and that if Lucas Leiva hadn't got injured, Liverpool would have challenged for the title.
