Disappointing to see people trying to defend Suarez. I hope to god I never see my club release a statement like the one that's slimed its way out of Anfield. Reads like it was written by Jim Davidson.

Liverpool supporters are never happier than when they've got a cause to rally behind and play the victim.

They're probably all out there now plotting how to boycott Renault or something equally as pathetic.

They'll have a banner at the next home game with Martin Luther King, Bob Marley and Malcolm X on it with Suarez on the end saying something like "let it be" or "Racism has many fathers, but mine's a negrito so chill out yeah?".

Liverpool's statement is pretty much spot on. Absolutely amazes me that the FA can take such punishment to Suarez, yet allow JT to lead the national side when there was clear evidence of Terry making a blooper. Eight games, deary me, I can't wait to see the 'facts' of this, should be hilariously bent.
