Think he woulda won too, Barry G seemed to settle him down after his first poor jump. Rustiness and weight probably the reason.

Long Run was awful in the jumping department, absolutely terrible. Still a bit of a profit thanks to Grandouet.

Would have to disagree about Oscar Whiskey, looks a horse that needs further, felt the winner could have pulled oit more.

As for Kauto Star, well................fantasic, warms the heart, but....... when an 11yo wins a group 1, the oppo aint upto much. Shows that ratings are a matter of opinion, the 3m department is weak to say the least, and Long Run is now a backable price for the KG.

Still, all looks good for Planet of Sound

Not really, Geraghty was after him 3 fences out. Its all opinions, and tbh, i could have place layed the front 3 at odds on, but I never Typical first run back imo... Still roll on the Long Walk next month. Could well be a blessing that he fell

I'm not sure how anyone can have Oscar Whisky down as not winning that race if it popped the last. Geraghty up to his usual tricks driving the horse at the final fence. Not the first time and won't be the last.

Great from Kauto I was stupid not taking into account Long Run wouldn't be fit and Kauto would to spot on, though as said it does give us a decent KG price now.

Don't fancy Pittoni at all in Morgiana and am backing Oscars Well to beat it in the without Thousand Stars market @ 10/11.

Fancy backing So Young but I'm not entirely convinced he justifies the odds, has been off since May and is going up in trip on very soft ground. Three runners, could be a muddling little race, can't take 1/2 in the hope that he's ready to bounce back from a poor run last time out.

No bets today.
