Wenger has been signing the same type of players for years, small technical gifted maybe but many can't stomach a battle and break down so easy, note sure if its down to bad training techniques or just bad luck.

As LGJM states they've had easier draws in the C.L for years, given their board & manager the notion they are better than they really are.

I've come to the conlusion wenger is just extremley stubborn and set in his ways. Now that he's gone down this path of young technical players and total football he can't deviate from that because he'd be proving his critics right. Yet if he swallowed his pride and put together a more balanced team he'd start winning some trophies.

What's the point in young technical players if they go to clubs who win trophies when they reach their peak? What's the point in total football if it doesn't win you the trophies? The very reason the best players end up leaving.

It's a vicious circle of idiocy.

It's about time some serious pressure was applied to wengers job.
