Cutler is 100% correct on this issue. Firstly he is 10x better than Cassell is, and secondly why would you want to stay at a team who clearly don't want you and have attempted to trade you and would prefer a one season wonder player who has played about 15 games total since high school. I also don't buy that Denver weren't offering him, they claimed that they were approached. I really don't believe that. As Cutler has said, nobody has made/attempted trades for Eli or Peyton or Brady or any elite QB. There must have been some indication from Denver, people don't just offer you ridiculous trades, especially not numerous teams. McDaniels has refused to apologise also.
I'd definately want out of that situation. He'll end up in Tampa for me. As stated, the number one pick is too much of an economical hit to take. I'd rather take 19 (Tampa's pick i think?) and other picks than number one overall.
