You're in a discussion with EE. You have just admitted you are a glory hunter. Suicide.
I'm no glory supporter ace. You don't get me bigging Chelsea up when things are great, nor hiding when they are bad.
I love football, I love everything that comes with football, including these debates. I just don't feel 'passionate' enough about Chelsea to call myself a Chelsea Fan.
Who do I watch the most growing up ? Chelsea. I was taken to games at OT, Anfield etc, I just always felt alligned to Chelsea. I wouldn't argue about them though, effectively if your a fanm you'll argue to the death for your side, I wouldn't, I just liked Kerry Dixon when I was eight, that's all.

I should have made myself clearer. I meant after he has joined United. Top players attract the interest of the top clubs. No top team have shown an interest in him. I had high hopes of him but he has disappointed.
I hope all of our top players continue to dissapoint you, because over the last couple of seasons those who have dissapointed you the most (Carrick and Rooney) have been our best performers and played a big part in us winning major European, World and Domestic trophies.
Hang on, did Real officially declare an interest in him? Or is this paper talk?
If you asked an Italian who Ashley Ypong was, they would shrug their shoulders. He is a good player in a team who are having luck by the spade. Let's see what happens over the longer-term.
I'm sure people's views of Young are not tainited by the Ingurlund is bestest attitude. You know who they are. These are the people who think Terry is the best centre half since the last decent centre half to come out of England. Or Rooney, the best striker since Michael Owen. And Ashley Cole the best full-back in the world....ever.
He doesn't have enough tricks. He will do nothing against decent European teams or at international level until his skill level and technique improves. If he doesn't have those abilities now, I doubt that he will ever develop them. Shame.
He has no tricks. Top class wingers have several tricks. Young is limited.
More experience? Robbie is only about a year or two older and has only been in teh contry for 5 months!
Go on that, select '07/08' season, then click down to assists, Young got 17 last year, only 2 behind Fabregas.
The rumours of Young to Madrid were in the media, but, depending on if you believe him or not, Guillem Balague actually confirmed this interest and so on, I usually believe his stuff on rumours, so I feel it was pretty much solid interest.
So just because an Italian might not know who Young is, makes him less of a player?
I bet most people in England don't know who Sebastian Giovinco is, but I bet you most Italians will tell you how good he is.
I don't tint my specs with all this England crap, I don't really watch England and I don't really rate many of our players, Terry is far from the best centre half in the world, and Cole isn't the best full back in the world, I don't base my opinion on player nationalities.
How doesn't he have enough tricks? He consistently beats his man and provides quality service with great technique, Young is nearly a complete player, he just lacks the experience at the highest level, something Robinho gained at Madrid, and something Young could gain next year with Villa.
I don't know why you think so lowly of Young's skill level, he's quick, double footed, can cross and shoot with either foot, his dribbling's good and he's exceptional at beating his man, he might not be as evasive or have the step overs of Robinho, but as Young has shown this season and last, he can be just as effective.

Yes you do, because he's an Aston Villa player and not a Manchester City player. (Oh, and because he's yet to prove himself in La Liga, like Ronaldo who's swept the board with personal accolades but this is discounted until he tricks a few left backs at Sporting Gijon & Getafe.)
Maybe he saves himself for the big games.....unlike Ronaldo

No, a football fan who loosely pledges his allegiance to Chelsea. I wouldn't class myself as a 'Fan'.
I'm not sure how many assists, but on that thing above about three posts up, he's rated as the biggest contributor in the Premiership. Obviously, it must be weighted towards goals, but your fella, "Robbie", is top five in the Goalscoring charts but way down in the ratings like.
Fella, Dirk Kuyt is high in the ratings so I won't even bother to consider them.
TBH many of the stats used in football mean very little (apart from goals scored and conceded, of course). For example, we once played West Brom and had something like 12 corners, with several shots on target and off target. We co,mpletely dominated possession and the ball must have been in their half for 80% of the game. They didn't have a shot on or off target, and they didn't even win a corner. West Brom won 1-0 because of an own-goal.

Biased?
If I am biased, how can you explain the compliments I have made about Ferdinand and Berbatov?
