It will now be interesting to see his reaction, during England's game with Ukraine, when he is met with the usual monkey chants, whether he will accept that it is simply part of the 'culture' of that particular country?....I very much doubt it.

It is for this reason that the FA could not show Suarez any leniency....If they had, every foreign player in the English league would have their defences lined up whenever they stepped over the line during a match.

What? I was illustrating a point about the nature of the game, in the context of this debate, It's the first time I've had it suggested that it didn't happen, but I know people who a friendly with smith so I am happy to try and find out .
