I agree with you on Gerrard, the more you see of Ross Barkley, the older and more redundant the old master gets.
It seems that rather than Suarez or Gerrard, the man that is most crucial to the new Liverpool is Coutinho. They are a 40% possession team without him. He seems to bind them together. I also agree with Gary Neville in thinking that their fullbacks are actually terrible as well.
What is Carragher doing on Sky? He has no place there, is woefully partisan and has no real insight to add. Jamie Redknapp is as smooth as silk, Neville actually looks to analyse things and raises a few interesting points.
