I don't know you, so I don't if your football bias strecthes across all footballing topics.
All very interesting....
What I do know, is that where "Robbie" is concerned, nobody can tell you anything.
You are the [erson who claimed to have watched Robson since he was a boy.
No. I have an opinion, and will stand by it. As I stated yesterday - on this thread - I have a view / opinion, call it what you want, but I am not stating it as a fact / truth. Please concentrate.
What do you want, a debate on epistemology?
He's a World Class Winger, and suggestions that Ribery & Young are better than him 'As left Wingers' are laughable. (Even when the stats tell you otherwise)
Robihno is a better winger, and overall a better footballer. Ashjley Young is better than Robihno at crossing but then Robbie is a far, far, far better passer of the ball, which more than makes up for this. RE all other abilities: Robson is better.
Ashley Young has over 20 assists in the last season & a half, not bad eh. Think about how good he'll be when he learns any tricks. Wowsa.
Rather than quote the stats at me, please advise me of the methodology, otherwise the stats mean nothing. What is an assist? Does an assist also not not depend on the skill of the player receiving the ball? Does this include own goals? Are the figures subject to QA? What QA do they use? What are the discrepancies between the stats produced by this organisation and the figures produced by another firm?
I refuse to debate the validity of statistic or set of statistics with someone who is not intelligent enough to keep up.
