to be fair newcastle got smaller crowds when they were in div1 than leeds get in div2

Definitely. Fletcher always performs in Europe, and IMO has definitely had his best season at United this year. The past few games that Anderson has played he has impressed and last night he was very good indeed. Our midfield certainly works a lot better with Carrick and Anderson and/or Fletcher than it does with Scholes and Carrick unfortunately.
