Do I post here as probably the only Prescot fan on rlfans!

Last night was a really poor performance from the lads, we played really well at Harrogate on Saturday beating them 3-0, so we all had hoped to beat Warrington last night, sadly our problem is our consistency, neither team played well and neither will come close to promotion or relegation at the end of the season, the conditions didn't help and well done to Warrington you played just that little bit better then we did, for some reason our best players aren't getting games and a few players have been consistently poor but are still getting games, by the way your goalie was probably your man of the match last night.

So as things are on a low at the club, we welcome Halifax on Saturday, a fixture I have mixed feelings about, no doubt it will be great for Prescot financially, someone posted on our forum they bring 500, that would be great at £7 each :D , money that will be good at the Cables, on the other hand they are the form team in the league, and will no doubt fancy their chances against us, and too be honest after last night I don't blame them, at the end of the game our manager went mad at the players and if that's worked we may make a game of it.
May the best team win, either way, look forward to seeing you at Hope Street on Saturday.

yeah i think everyone in our league looks forward to the visit of Halifax especially financially, it is true we do bring a fair few to away games. so will be good for you financially.

we are on good form in the league games that we actually get to play with all the postponements we have had for cup matches.

we will certainly be looking to preserve the unbeaten record, will be a tough game though i expect you to raise your game and make a real game of it.

i look forward to saturday, i have visited most of the grounds in our league from last year but will be making a first visit to your ground. so i will look forward to it.

may the best team win on saturday and later in the season when you visit the shay

They are in the same division as Shepshed....and about 3 miles down the road :)

should be able to attract him to the club then.

might have to wait till the end of the season though dont want to pay a transfer fee for him.

May I wash my mouth out for saying this, but good luck to the Cables on Saturday! We're at home to Trafford, but I'll be en route to Huddersfield for the England game by the time our game kicks off.

Crewe at home this weekend, possible giant killing on the cards but im not confident. We have been stumbling somewhat recently in the league. Such a shame for us this year as the worry of the fans has come to fruition. Foyle has got a good squad together but his limitations as a manager hold them back. He seems extremely paranoid about every little thing accusing the local press of been against him when they have been nothing of the sort. Hopefully im wrong but i dont see us getting out of this league with him in charge

Ilkeston are claiming they only have 12 fit players to take on Cambridge, think it might be a bit of a smoke screen and hopefully a good away win.

Yeah Foyle tried to use swine flu as an excuse for us at the weekend. Though him only making 2 changes shows it was mainly bull. We lost away again. So frustrating with the team we have that the manager holds us back so much away from home

I quite liked working with Foyle. Never for one minute thought he was anything other than brutally honest. McEwen, however...

congrats to Prescot the unbeaten run is over the game was boring dont think either side played as well as they could, the conditions didnt really play for good attracive football and the pitch was a bit of a mess but am not making excuses there just the facts.

the time waisting by the Prescot goalkeeper was bordering on ridiculous.

but we played reallly bad today. congrats to Prescot today.

back to destroying AFC Flyde at the shay on tuesday night.

...and the mighty Poppies knock out Hartlepool at Hartlepool in the Cup! Hopefully get an easy passage into the 3rd round then Man U away would be nice.

After that I do not mind who they get.
