Journalists and Everton supporters give the impression that Moyes has spent very little money. Compared to our recent splurge, I agree. But how much did the likes of Yakubu and Feillani cost? More than a handful of brass buttons, I am sure.

But that is just the point, he has spent very little. Yakubu £12 million or thereabouts and Fellaini £15 million now, in today's market, that is very little money. £27 million is not a great deal now is it.

This season's Premier League is a lot more open with in my opinion seven teams chasing those four Champions League places.
Streets ahead of Italy and Spain in terms of competitiveness.

Well I don't know. I want to wait a couple of months, see how Rafa deals with the rotation of his squad and when we start to hit top fitness. Also, Aquilani is still yet to play. He could be great, he could be average.

Ever heard of a former Everton striker named Duncan Ferguson (1994/1998)?

Face stamping would be a minor grievance compared to his behaviour towards Jon McStay (1994) immediately prior to his transfer south.

Unless you are of course being totally ironic and are referring to "Everton having history" in the admiration sense!
