Campbell made himself to look like a complete knob, throwing his arms about everywhere, get a grip man.

As for Wenger, he's just a sour pr*c.

Shawcross had his studs down, laces pointed up, not the way you go to snap someone if you wanted to.

Quick recovery to the kid though.

The BBC showed it in slow motion on MOTD. Looked a complete accident to me. Shawcross made first contact with the ball, his touch took it away from him and he swung his boot at the ball. He made contact with the top of the ball and his boot (not his studs) slid into Ramsay's planted leg. It wasnt a 50:50 tackle, he was kicking the ball.

According to someone on Five Live, Sky erased it from everyone's Sky Plus! I had no idea they had the power to do that. Apparantly, you could rewind to just after the accident, but not see it.

TBH I wonder if this has anything to do with Chev Walker's leg break. When Chev broke his leg they showed the break a few times, from different angles. That was pretty nasty and I reckon there will have been complaints.

It could be that Sky have been warned that if they do that again, they'll be in trouble.

For me though it's one extreme to the other. They showed far too much for Chev's injury and not enough of Ramsay's. Shawcross was sent off for that, IMO it wasn't a red card challenge, not even a yellow actually. But Shawcross will now go down as the player who did Ramsays leg on purpose. And with the way Wenger operates, it'll go down as one of the worst tackles of all time and Shawcross will be under a shadow for the rest of his career.

And as for Sky blocking out this incident from customers Sky boxes, I think it's appalling that they have this ability and even more appalling that they're using it.

His 19 year old midfielder got absolutely crunched and had his leg snapped, he is absolutely entitled to be upset. Everyone's dislike of Wenger can't change the fact that it was a horrendous tackle which could have serious implications for Ramsey's career. Wake up ffs.

Shawcross was a bit unlucky to recieve a red card for that, was a 50/50 ball and think he only got sent off due to the seriousness of the injury. From this pic (DON'T CLICK IF SQUEAMISH!) it appears the ankle has given way BEFORE Shawcross makes contact, although it could be after the tackle, I'm not 100% sure.

To be fair, although it was a 50/50 ball, he missed it and kicked Aaron Ramsey's leg with his full force, and that's a sending off. I have no doubt it was unintentional but it's still a sending off.

While I do think Campbell was wrong in reacting as he did, and the ref too, I do think the circumstances were such that it was easy to over-react.

Ramsey is a 19 year old kid with a potentially wonderful future ahead of him. To see him in agony on the floor with his leg facing in different directions is going to effect you. Especially with Arsenal's recent history with horrific injuries, they are going to feel a little paranoid over it.

So I don't hold Campbell's reaction against him. I don't really hold the ref sending Shawcross off against him. That doesn't apply to Wenger though. He is an utter ****. He had time to properly assess the situation but still came out with nonsense.

Upset, yes.

Over-react and act like a tit and some how make out that it is a witch-hunt against Arsenal, not a chance.

Completely disagree.

Take away the broken leg part of the incident and Shawcross would've been unlucky to have been given a yellow.
