The biggest problem for QPR, in my opinion, is that they've already seen the fallout over West Ham doing this. West Ham were the first side punished over this, so there was an element of it being a bit of an unknown what would happen. West Ham could claim innocence or naiveté. But QPR know that it was wrong because of what happened to West Ham and they've gone and done it anyway.

QPR might get away with this because they don't have a big enough profile, but they could also suffer because their owners are so rich a fine will be regarded as meaningless.

Can't find it again, but i think i read an article that said that QPR tried to sort out the contracts so that he'd no longer be under 3rd party ownership, and that was what brought the issue to the FA.

It isn't like Mr Redknapp to get involved heavily in the transfer market, is it??.....

Its good to see he's looking to the future too, replacing Crouch and the Russian with those 2 young strikers, you mention....

Yeh,quite agree with all that but our 'Arry is a one off - he's done the business so far with the help of Liverpool falling short of the mark as well and the pressure is now on hom to carry on and progress - we may not even make 5th place this year and that will not go down well with Mr Levy ! witness what he did to the great Martin Jol following two 5th places ?

personally I think we should have kept Darren Bent and as for bringing bacg back Robbie Keane ?...

Flashing a t-shirt hardly carries the same message as a player actually talking about an issue. If Fowler had come out at the post match and waffled on about the dockers that would have gotten the dockers good press coverage instead of what happened which was a discussion about the protocol. Do you think that footballers should be allowed, on the pitch, to be promoting issues like that? If so then what limits do you put on it? Only flashes of shirts whose sentiments you agree with? What about political slogans e.g. "Vote Tory", or perhaps BNP shirts? What about individual corporate sponsorship? It's either all or nothing.

However my original point was that taking your shirt off was never a natural expression of emotion but since then every tool has been doing it in football. Keep your shirts on you tools.

How Utd are not 4-0 up I don't know!! Neuer has been superb, as have Utd, I hope we don't regret all these missed chances.
