quevega for the mares hurdle is surely a penalty kick. yesterday weld said unaccompanied was missing cheltenham, then having a prep run on the flat before going for the big hurdle at punchestown.

today colm murphy has all but ruled out voler la vadette, saying she will run in the world hurdle.

quevega surely has this at her mercy. just had a bet at 4/5 with boyles.

Right, Grand National weights are out, and 1st bet already down.

Planet Of Sound...33/1 ew @ Ladbrokes.

Synchronised has been given top weight of 11 10. 1lb above Ballabriggs, who is definately aimed at the race, so if Synchronised comes out, then PoS will run with 11s 6lb. Not exactly an eye catching weight, but the course will suit. All his best form has come on large galloping courses or those with at least a 4f run in. Grade 1 horse at best with a rating of 166, now runs off 158.

His form on his favoured courses reads.31222111310132. The duckegg coming in the Ryanair, where a mistake put to his chances, and with hindsight, the trip was too short.

Next due to run in the Racing Post Trophy at Kempton ( wrong course for him). Will go in again, after he has failed in that race.

Keep an eye on BetFred as they go a bit bonkers at times with their first tryscorer odds, Wales v Oz 80/1 Rhys Williams springs to mind even Kear who got the 2nd in that games was also 80/1.

Not good news on Solwhit having a setback but very interesting news with Galileo's Choice being entered in the The Grade 1 Royal Bond Novice Hurdle.

Asked for it to be entered in the Supreme on betfair and had some @ 24/1 just after I posted that.

It beat a good marker on hurdles debut in Drumfire who was very good on the flat and had good hurdles form itself, Galileo's Choice looked like it was going to win easy but got tired close home yet still looked very good for a Novice going over hurdles really quick at times.

Its then hacked all over another decent mark on the flat over 2 miles in Luska Lad and was last seen winner a Group 3 on the flat over 10f, Dermot Weld actually wanted to take it over for the Melbourne Cup thats how highly he rates it but due to conditions of race wins he couldn't get into the field, Breeders Cup Marathon was also thought about.

He might not turn out top class over hurdles but at the prices on betfair now (over 70/1) which I have just thrown change on for decent payout its worth ago.
