The North West will have 8 teams in the top flight next season.
The region has also provided this seasons Champions, League cup winners, League runners up, and one of the FA Cup finalists. Also none of the NW teams were really involved in a relegation battle.
A North west team will contest the Champions League final this season, and in the last 4 years two different teams from the NW of England have been European champions. 7 out of the 9 European Cups won by English clubs have been won by NW sides.
England's two best players are both Scousers, and they are arguably both amongst the top 10 players in World football.
A hotbed of football, when will the rest of the country catch up?
As for the North East and Yorkshire, they should stick to Rugby League, and pigeon fancying.
