A very sad loss to sport. Even though he was so passionate during matches who refused to let his emotions get to him after the match and just a genuine gentleman.

The updated BBC documentry made in 2002 was just on BBC and it was excellent. Gary Lineker was brilliant with him and it is well worth a watch on i-player.

A great tribute to a great man.

The film of him opening a cancer facility on his 76th (and alas last) birthday at the end will get you for in tears for sure.

Very moving and well done, with some good anecdotes from the media and players. Even at that last function the spark was still there.

Watching the various tribute shows just underlined what I thought about him. Simply one of life's good guys. RIP Sir Bobby.

A fantastic manager and a wonderful man. His record is simply outstanding, you only have to look at the people he has influenced over his career and what they think of him, Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy, Romario, Figo, Gascoigne, Shearer, Mourinho etc etc.

Such a sad loss to the game and the world, I will never forget that BBC Sports Personality night.

Went up to SJP today to pay my respects.

Took my breath away when I entered the ground, truly amazing sight. I'll post some pictures over the weekend.
