Phil Jones, Tom Cleverly and Ashley Young all proved they were world class yesterday.

Just for Enfield Exile that one

Was a decent performance especially in the 2nd half once we decided not to let their hacking get to us. Still not convinced by that midfield even though Cleverly did well when he came on, I don't think he'll be able to perform like that all season.

I thought City looked sluggish from the start, couldnt believe we were two up at ht. It was noticable that even our usually most energetic players were well off the pace. Hopefully its a sign that our pre season training has been aimed at endurance over the course of the season rather than sharpness at the start.

Thought Cleverley did well for United

I'd be astounded if any football team, especially one as well resourced as city, would do anything else.
