honestly the hatred of chelsea on here is laughable.
it's so strong you have f*cking united and pool fans holding hands and joining together in a collective helpful (not just over chelsea...but over each other).
A lot of teams beat us, do a lap of honour and don't stop running. They live too long on one good result. I remember Jimmy Adamson crowing after Burnley had beaten us once and that his players were in a different league. At the end of the season they were.

1. Before Roman Abramovich invested a penny in Chelsea Chelsea, obviously not a big club according to most people on here, qualified ahead of Liverpool for the Champions League. Now, seeing that Liverpool have a fantastic history, have their fantastic support and the resources that that brings, isn't Chelsea pipping them to CL qualification worthy of some grudging respect?
Wow, they managed to finish above my team and what was you, the first loser or the second, maybe third?

2. Liverpool are rightly acknowledged as a team with a great European heritage. Even the people who severely dislike them, and I am one of them, admit that they have something special when it comes to European competition. But Chelsea have put them out of Europe two years in a row. Isn't that worthy of grudging respect?
Oh, and failed again. Common theme here in the European competition. Chelsea have done zilch in Europe to earn respect from me. See, Liverpool are respected, form winning thne competition, not for qualifying for it or beating another team on the way to failure.

3. Barcelona and Manchester United, two of the biggest clubs in the world with massive spending power and resources, need to rely on penalties and a 93rd minute away goal (and one of the most shocking refereeing performances in modern times) to overcome Chelsea in the CL. Isn't that worthy of grudging respect?
No, and I can't see why it should be. You lost, again, failures. When it comes to Europe, Chelsea haven't done Jack Schitt and are nowhere when old Big Ears is being handed out.
Respect is built over time and cannot be bought, that's why you have none as far as I'm concerned.

I just don't think you are intelligent enough to see the irony in that post.

This post says two things.
1. Your respect is pretty much worthless anyway.
2. You are the epitome of the glory hunting scouser.
But no doubt you'll get a blow off some sad mancs, so it's not all bad for you.
I don't think it's a hatred of Chelsea? I don't mind them, I actually believe if they had a real coach(not a world class one like you've said before) then they'd be breathing down our necks now. I do like seeing Terry and Drogba bitch, p1ss and moan though.
Chelsea spent a load of money and won the premiership. United continue to spend lots of money and are champions. Liverpool spent £hit loads of money and....erm...are still cr@p. But yeah, in Rafa we trust an all that.
