Happy memories of holidays at Cherry Tree holiday park in Great Yarmouth. Ice creams on the front and Ripley's believe it or not.

used to live literally just around the corner from Cherry Tree at Burgh Castle (the local was the Queens Head) and even helped out there with the donkeys (probably before your time !)
Yarmouth used to be great for holidays in the 60s & 70s - think it's changed a bit since then...

My big brother and late dad were both Norwich & Arsenal fanatics...

it's different in most other parts of the country where you are not far from a 'big' club so the choice is easy...

I'm a Liverpool fan but have a soft-spot for Norwich, and always look out for their results as my Grandparents were born in Great Yarmouth and are Norwich fans. They moved up to Warrington when they were about 25 for work until moving back down to Norwich when they were both retired. I've been there a couple of times. It's a great place.

Anyway, enough about 'this is my life'...

It's good to see them back in the PL. Paul Lambert has done a terrific job and if he doesn't get 'manager of the year' for The Championship, then there is something seriously up. Players like Holt, Martin, Fox and Hoolahan (he is one to look out for next year) have done a great job there but there's no doubt that they will need to strengthen in the summer. It will certainly be a big job keeping them up, but one I'm sure Lambert will relish.

Chelsea TV..sorry Sky sports news, doing all they can to swing things Chelseas way by highlighting that United do quite well when Howard Webb is ref. Putting a bit more pressure on him to favour Chelsea.

Usually football teams are passed down through generation. How come you didn't end up supporting Norwich?

Maybe they're just outlining that not all refs are against United, countering Fergie's claims.

This was my mums side, Mark. My dad and his family have always lived in Warrington. The mother couldn't give 'two hoots' about football, and my dad is a Liverpool fan. Just started from there really, he used to take me to Anfield as a kid, so grew up supporting them. Basically, I were closer to my dad than my grandad, obviously.

Not just the refs, the FA as well. Banning Rooney for swearing and not banning others. It's a farce. It's the "in" thing to not give United decisions.
