cheers mate.
chelsea look like theyre gonna be severely depleted for the CL final.
profit could be made regardless of who wins the other semi by having similar sized bets on both madrid and munich in the outright markets, take the best odds and as long as chelsea don't lift the trophy then its a guaranteed profit. so it wouldnt matter who won tomorrow, as long as they beat chelsea. with the players chelsea have missing, it'll be a big ask for them.
Not sure it would be worth it. The way Chelsea have gone this year you get the feeling their name may be on it. For the profit you'd make, I could think of better bets. Of course they would be underdogs against either Munich at their home ground or the mighty Madrid but its looking fairly similar to our triumph in 2005 the amount comebacks and adversity they've gone through.
Plus, their starting XI would still look decent. Cech, Bosignwa, Luiz, Cahill, Cole, Mikel, Essien, Lampard, Mata, Kalou/Malouda, Drogba.
While it's the betting thread.....I'm on Matthew Steves at 66/1 for the snooker. If Selby, whos is 6-3 down overnight loses, his quarter of the draw opens up rather nicely for him, especially if Ding (who is cuurently 6-6) loses as well. Stevens has always enjoyed the longer format and seems to have come back into a little bit of form.
Also on San Antonio Spurs at 7/1 for the NBA which all being well I'm hoping to at the least offer me a decent trade later on.
