Good luck to (soon to be ex) Poppies boss Mark Cooper as he leaves to take charge of the Posh in the Championship. A massive jump for the guy. Thankfully, I doubt he will be taking too many players with him!

He did a great job with Kettering and will be a hard act to follow but he deserves his chance. Whether or not he will be good enough for that level remains to be seen.

Thanks Mr Cooper but I just wish you could have stayed for the Leeds game that you deserved to be inolved in.

very interesting game at Skelmersdale today, finished 2-2, probs a fair result.

nice ground as well, the pitch was flat which is probs why we didnt play too bad.

7 points off top with 4 games in hand, still in it.

4 points from 9, is that a blip over at the Shay?

Convincing second half performance saw Leigh run out 4-0 winners at Prescot. As the chant goes, 10-0 on aggregate :D

you won away at Prescot, did you go to there ground?

a tiny blip but we have it under control, winning all the game in hand we have will still comfortably take us top of the league.

plus with our home form that has seen us not drop a home point yet means we can notch up 3 points from the home games

Certainly did. Quite like it really, though I'd already been there previously from when we were both in the UniBond Prem.

Pitch held up remarkably well considering the rain, so no complaints about that. Acoustics behind the goal are exceptional as well, though scoring four second half goals certainly helped the atmosphere. Nice bar as well.

well i suppose its always going to be a better experiance alround if you win 4-0.

Skelmersdale certainly one of the better grounds in this league a good pitch,

Halifax, Skelmersdale, Lancaster and probably leigh even though i havent been there cause your in a brand new stadium so will be good. all very good grounds.

you might have to open another stand to accomodate our large away support,

now brings on another week of postpning league games to play in other competitions.

fa trophy the only one i want to stay in really,

home to Mossley in one of the Unibond cups on Tuesday,

and i notice your slowy creeping up on Halifax only 6 points behins us.

looking forward to our trip to Leigh Sports Village on the 5th of December should be a good game.

oh and it might be a football topic but i have to say i am really happy to see the Centurians back on the Championship in Rugby, really like the set up at your club really going in the right direction on and off the feild.
