Martin O’Neill has signed a new foreign superkid.
On the new boy’s first day of training, O’Neill picks up a ball and shouts very slowly:

“You get this and kick it at the goal.”

The new superkid looks a bit bewildered but carries on nonetheless.
The next day at training, exactly the same thing happens.
O’Neill stops play, scoops the ball up and shouts - even slower than last time:

“You get this and score a goal.”

Again the young foreign kid looks discombobulated, but carries on.
On the third day, it happens again:

“You get this and score a goal.”

This time, the foreign superkid finally cracks, so shouts to his new manager:

“Boss, I speak very good English and know what to do!”

O’Neill says:

“Not you son, I’m talking to Heskey!”

First coach loads of City fans I saw last night were from coach companies based in Cheltenham, Hazel Grove, Heywood, Blackpool and Preston.

I suppose with 9,000 fans, every single one of them coming from places with Manchester postcodes, they would have to have had coaches shipped in from all over the country wouldn't they????

For any City fan to have a go after a) last week's lighter incident with Evra and b) the amount of coins that were luzzed at Beckham a few years back would be slightly hypocritical....don't get me wrong, its moronic from whoever does it and needs to stop but its easier to say it needs to stop than it is to make it stop, unless people arent allowed to take anything at all into the seats of grounds.

Robinho will put Santos out of business.

It's a bad move for the boy wonder, he's going to be playing weekend and midweek now until the 6th April as the Paulista season crams 19 games into 11 weeks. (The two midweeks that there are no league games the team will be playing in the Copa do Brasil). If Santos don't make the play offs in the Paulista he could be looking at going from April 6th to May 11th with no competetive football. Then within weeks of that he's off to South Africa if selected. If Brazil do well there he won't be back at Santos until the middle of July. Couple more league games then he's back in Manchester.

I still don't know how they are going to pay it. It's an awful lot of money per week for a Brazilian club unless they've got a sponsor to cover it all (which is perfectly legal out there) but Santos are paying for about 13 games in the Paulista and maybe 8 games in Série A at the most.

Our tactics were spot on last night. It is just that they were not executed properly. Rooney was on fire too. United cannot play much better. We can as we have players to come back and players who are not fit. Who will United turn to when Rooney is injured?
