You're probably right for once.

Heard a stat you'd like last night. Against the Falcons he had a free defender rushing him 15 times. He was 12-15 for 148 yards and 2 TD's. Great stuff.

I take it thats Rodgers?

He's also the highest rated QB, after Peyton Manning, against the Blitz.

I'm looking forward to our game now, but i'm just dissapointed that it's all been quite friendly this week between us and the Bears. Other than a few things about Rodgers its been pretty quiet in the media too.

Yeah I agree, most of the older franchises just get on with it. It would just have been nice to see some wide sweeping statements (like I make ) to get it fired up a little bit.

I have however said he is better than some give him credit for and is not the "worst starting QB in the league" as some have said now thats daft when we have had the likes of Chad Henne,Tyler Thigpen,Alex Smith,Derek Anderson and whoever else has been starting for Arizona to name a few in the league this year

Cassell is terrible. He is behind probably the best running game in the league and his stats are inflated (in terms of TD versus INT) because he checks it down consistently.

When the game had to be put on his shoulders he crumbled.

Brady checks down a lot so I guess he's terrible too?

I will get on the phone and tell him some kid from a rugby league forum say's he's not good enough

Well you think he's had a good enough season to make a Pro Bowl regardless of the daft voting system or not. Surely that means you think he's been in the upper echelon of QB's this season making him a top QB at least for this season in your eyes surely? He's had a good year but he's put up no real yardage (less than 200 yards a game) and has had the luxury of a running game softening coverage up for him. When the running game hasn't worked Cassel has struggled.

Cassel is the franchise QB. Thigpen, Smith and Anderson clearly aren't. I think Miami thought Henne could be but he's been a major flop. I personally think there are a lot of QB's out there I would prefer to Matt Cassel. Don't see why there is such a major reaction to this opinion to be honest.

I read my first mock draft for next season yesterday. Noticed it had the Pats taking a QB in the first. Is Brady looking to call it a day soon?
