I think if we survive our relegation battle, then the summer could be truly a nightmare.
We have no chance of any investment in the club until Kenwright departs, which he shows little sign of wanting to do, and so you would expect a mass exodus of players who would be hacked off at being at such an ailing club.....Heitinga, Rodwell and Arteta would be definites to go, followed probably by Jagielka and Baines, who would attract big interest....Moyes would surely follow at some point (or he could jump immediately in May to spark the exodus).
Unless a miracle happens, I don't foresee anything but trouble at Everton.
Couldn't agree more, mate. Very true and hones post for me. I really do fear we could be more trouble than we have been for a long while and yet all the hopes and expectation of this season seem so long ago now.

From what I've seen of Beckford this season he's really become a team player and his games improved. Plenty of times for us last season he was greedy and would go in a huff or not celebrate with his teammates if someone scored but not seen that this season. Surprised how much Moyes believes in him and how much he's played. I thought he'd be like Delph was at Villa we're he played a few games then disappeared but players like Beckford are natural goalscorers and will get used to the Prem!
Spot on. I think Moyes has been forced to use him a lot more than he intended too, start of the season we he was our only fit striker then he hardly featured and since Moyes decided he didn't want Yakubu around he's been playing a fair amount. It's far too early to judge him yet he needs at least this full season training/being coached and playing at this level. He's coming on a bundle too, when you consider how long Anichebe and Vaughan have been coached and playing at this level and compare that too Beckford he's well ahead already.
